The Mended Hearts of Mercer Health meets the last Tuesday evening, every other month, September-May.  On Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7:00pm in Meeting Room #1, Mercer Health, Kristy Kahlig will present Benefits of Exercise and Fitness.  Kristy is a Certified Personal Trainer, Owner of Innergy Fitness Center, and a Silver Sneakers Instructor.  Refreshments will be served.  Please call 419-678-5180 if you have any questions.

The Grand Lake International Association is repsonsible for the sister city exchange between Mercer County high school students and high school students from Minamiawaji, Japan. This year, a total of 10 delegates from all over Mercer County will be making the trip to Japan for a 10 day host stay in Minamiawaji. Since all of the delegates are high school students, they are seeking ways to help offset their cost since the trip is close to $2700. With that said, the students have worked diligently collecting over 100 items for a quarter auction to be held on June 9, 2013 at 1:30pm at Briarwood Village's Gathering Place, 100 Don Desch Dr, Coldwater OH  45828.  Doors will be open at 12:30pm, snacks will be available, as well as raffles and a 50/50.  The cost is $3.00 per paddle.  Bring plenty of quarters!  Proceeds benefit the Japanese Sister City Delegates from Mercer County.
