Where we've been and where we're going...
St. Paul's has a rich history in downtown Celina, OH. What began with a small group in a log meeting house in the 1830s, soon grew into a thriving Methodist congregation. Over the years St. Paul's has maintained a consistent commitment to being a tangible witness to God's love in our downtown community. As we live into our mission, to touch and make lives whole in Christ, we see God at work through many current ministries at St. Paul’s. Through our variety of worship styles people of all kinds can connect with God and others. Through our Grenada Project and Harvest Table we are able to offer real help to those in need both internationally and locally. Through our Discipleship Pathway we are intentional about helping St. Paul’s members take steps towards living like Jesus. And through our multigenerational approach we are able to offer relevant ministries to the whole family.
As we look toward the future, St. Paul's is more committed than ever to offering hope and peace to the hurting and broken in our world. We believe all people can discover true wholeness when our lives are rooted in Jesus Christ. As we continue to pursue our mission to touch and make lives whole in Christ, we are excited for the ways in which God will continue to use St. Paul's to make a real difference in our world.
God is at work in and through St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. We invite you to come and be a part of writing the next chapter in St. Paul's history as we journey towards wholeness together.
